1. Data we collect

When a patient or customer calls a business using DeskSathi, we collect the caller's phone number, a transcript of the conversation, and the outcome (booking, lead, escalation). Business owners who sign up provide their name, email, business name, and payment information.

2. How we use it

Call data is used to operate the DeskSathi service — transcribing conversations, booking appointments, sending WhatsApp confirmations, and showing transcripts in the owner dashboard. We do not sell caller data to any third party. We do not use caller data for advertising.

3. Data retention

Call transcripts are retained for 90 days by default. Business owners can request deletion at any time. When a business cancels their DeskSathi subscription, their data is deleted within 30 days.

4. Third-party services

DeskSathi uses Twilio (call handling), Deepgram (speech recognition), ElevenLabs (text to speech), Anthropic Claude (AI responses), Supabase (data storage), and Meta WhatsApp Business API (confirmations). Audio is processed by these services and is subject to their respective privacy policies.

5. Your rights

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data. To exercise these rights, email privacy@desksathi.com. We will respond within 7 business days.
